Liebe Andrea, vielen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt in La Casetta. Dieses Kleinod war für mich und meinen Mann ein wahres Paradies. Sie haben diese Wohnung mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an Zuhause! Der kleine Garten ist wunderbar und wir haben viele schöne Stunden unter der Pergola verbracht. Es ist einfach toll dass man in 5 Gehminuten überall ist. Wir lieben Spello, so viele schöne Blumen, die wunderbaren malerischen Gassen, die netten Geschäfte und die guten Trattorias und Restaurants - einfach perfekt. Wir kommen wieder!! wir sind wieder gut in Leipzig angekommen. Spello und Casa Giardino fehlen uns aber schon jetzt.
Marcel sagte: Papa nachstes Jahr massen wir 2 Wochen nach Spello kommen - er ist eigentlich nicht so. Und meine Frau Yaroslava meinte: Sie ware gerne noch eine Woche langer geblieben normalerweise will Sie nach einer Woche immer nach Hause!! Also unser Urlaub war ein Traum in Ihrem wunderschönen Haus. Wir lieben jedes Detail, die Einrichtung, den Garten, die Aussicht und vor allem die gute Lage. Danke und liebe grüße Ihre

Die Lage, der wunderbare Garten mit Aussicht auf die Olivenhaine, das Haus mit so viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, Ihre Gastfreundschaft und die vielen tollen Tipps haben unseren Urlaub zu einem wahren Erlebnis gemacht. Spello ist ein wunderschöner Ort der Gott sei Dank noch keinen Massentourismus kennt. Was Frau Falkner hier geschaffen hat ist eine Insel der Ruhe, des Stils und der Gemütlichkeit.
So wie sie selbst sind die Räume perfekt gestaltet, unaufdringlich, klar und komfortabel.
Der Garten mit Blick auf die umbrischen Hügel ist atemberaubend und wir haben viele schöne Stunden in diesem Paradies verbracht.
Spello ist sehr charmant und für uns das schönste Dorf in Umbrien.

"Breathtaking Villa + views!"
It's not easy to find a place to start when talking about Spello or Buonanotte Barbanera. First, the property is absolutely breathtaking. Each space from the master bedroom to the kitchen have each detail finely attended to. It feels more like home than a vacation space. Second, the views and surrounding village make you feel like you're in a book, nothing compares to the scenery, quaint cobblestone streets and lovely people. Lastly, you will not want to leave. After seven days of staying in Spello and visiting surrounding cities, we set off for Firenze. As we took our last drive (of the trip) down the hillside, I feel like I left a little piece of myself in Spello. As for the technical details - the villa and garden house slept our family of 9 comfortably, we didn't need to use the yellow room. Nabil, the chef which was arranged for us, provided two delicious dinners during our stay. We had a welcome basket of delicious fruits. Cleaning service was provided daily (week days). On Thanksgiving, Nabil made a delicious traditional Italian dinner which we ate on a beautifully set table by our host and owner, Andrea. Each place setting was complete with a gift for each guest! The town is within walking distance of the villa - coffee, grocery, restaurants, gelato and more! We are looking forward to our next visit in July where we can enjoy warmer weather and the pool. I've always traveled to the more touristic destinations but after this trip I will always look for the road less traveled. Do yourself a favor and do not miss out on Spello and Buonanotte Barbanera on your next vacation!

"Beautiful stay in Spello"
This is a wonderful option if you're looking to rent a house in Spello. The house itself is beautiful and the location is really great. It feels secluded and is quiet but is also very close walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Spello--very convenient! It is extremely clean and tidy and when you rent the house it includes daily professional cleaning (bedrooms made up and bathrooms cleaned), as if you were in a hotel. Andrea, the owner, is great and attentive and really wanted to do everything she could to make sure we had a perfect stay. We were a group of 6 and had more than enough space. I would definitely recommend staying here!

"Amazing stay!"
We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Buonanotte Barbanera! It was truly magnificent. The house is simply gorgeous, the attention to detail is quite something. It's obvious that every part of the home has been carefully thought of to ensure that guests have the most comfortable and pleasant stay. Andre's kindness and hospitality was remarkable. I look forward to visiting Spello again, only for the pleasure of staying at such a great house. Spello, of course is beautiful. The shops are quaint and the town so pretty, with friendly locals and delicious food. I look forward to going back, and in the meantime will miss the peace and tranquility of what it had to offer.

"Wonderful! Beautiful! Thoughtful host! A perfect home base!"
We rented Villa Buonanotte Barbanera for the week of October 10th through 17th for a family vacation. 3 couples, mother and father and their two 20's daughters with finance and boyfriend. The setting is gorgeous. Imagine your dream of a house in Italy - ancient stone, a fresco, places to lounge, a well equipped kitchen, the feeling of complete serenity and privacy yet less than a 5 minute walk to the small town center - that's Buonanotte Barbanera and more. Andrea, the owner and host is warm and accommodating and knows everyone in town and surrounding areas and is a fountain of great suggestions and inside tips. The house includes daily maid service which is a gigantic plus. SO nice to return each day to a tidy house, remade beds, cleaned bathrooms and kitchen - even new linens on the table each day and cookware put away. What a treat and unusual plus in a weekly rental. The master bedroom is huge, light and airy with a beautiful bathroom. the upstairs bedroom in the house is also very large though the area of the bed has a lower ceiling, perhaps 5'10 or 11", so best if the tallest person doesn't stay there. Also en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom is entered from the garden so it feels like a separate cottage. It is the smallest but has old vaulted arches and is charming. the bathroom is also en-suite but has more of partition walls so best for a couple that is very close :-). This bedroom does not have a window but the screened door can remain closed while the heavy wooden outer door is open. The pool looked lovely but was understandably being closed down for the winter (it did get chilly in the mornings and evenings when we were there. We so enjoyed cooking in the kitchen - we had everything we could ask for and more. Hanging out in the living room was so much fun, as a group, we never even made it to the upper lounge area. Even in the rain, we could eat outside on the covered patio/dining area. Spello is charming. Better prices on ceramics than Deruta and more finely detailed. Some good restaurants (trust Andrea's recommendations), nice markets and nice shops. Best of all, enjoy the walks throughout Spello. Interesting neighboring towns are a very short drive away. Buonanotte Barbanera quickly feels like a dream home and Andrea like a good friend.

"This place is so special!"
We have had a wonderful week here in Andrea’s beautiful and comfortable house. The views are spectacular - my kid have said several times that they almost feel unreal or as it in a movie - so beautiful and picturesque.
We loved the pool and spent a lot of time enjoying the garden and the way Andrea has created an outdoor living space to enjoy “La dolce vita”.
Andrea’s hospitality, warmth and efforts make us feel at home! This place is so special!

It was 3 years since our last real family holiday and we couldn’t have wished for a better stay.
What a little gem Spello is!
The house is a perfect retreat: a calming and colorful bundle of joy while at the same time a perfect spot for relaxing, reading and cooling down.
Just a step or 2 away from the picturesque center with all the divine wine and rich food and yet you also have the feeling of being away from all the hustle and bustle.
We will definitely return here.
